Match Report

Sandy FC reserves had a good workout against a young Bedford Park Rangers side as they continued their pre season preparations with a confidence boosting win. Following some previously disappointing results Sandy manager Graham Ward felt that his side finally delivered a result that they had been threatening for some time.

4 goals from man of the match Brad Dennis as well as goals from Leon Bryan and Anthony Roberts ensured a comfortable win. The highlight of the evening though had to be the celebration of Anthony Roberts following his goal, Manager Graham Ward was quoted as saying it 'looked like he had scored in a World Cup Final'

Sandy led 3 - 0 at half time, but 2 changes in the second half gave Sandy more stability across the park and allowed Brad Dennis to finish the game off by completing his four goal haul.

Graham Ward felt that the defence were a lot more organised than they had been in earlier warm up games, and this reflected throughout an improved team performance.
