Match Report

Graham Ward had to change the formation of the midfield due to injuries. Adam Hales slotted into right midfield with Marcus Tait pulling the reins supported by Dean Hill.

The formation of 4-3-1-2 was applied very well with excellent work from everybody across the park.

The first 45 minutes were excellent but Lea Sports PSG Reserves found themselves to be 2 goals ahead against the run of play. Very few chances were created – with Charlie Seward hitting the post in the first 20 minutes. Two other chances were squandered from the forward line.

Discussion at half time from GW, tried to rally the Team who looked dejected and self-doubting.

They had played some good football, but due to the two lapses in concentration allowed the home side to be 2-0 down.

The second half was not too astounding – but the away side couldn’t add any further goals to their tally.

Defensive work was good from the back four defenders with some limited creative work from midfield.

An uninspiring last 45 minutes allowed Lea Sports PSG to take the 3 points.
