A second half salvo from Jonathan Fusco and Piper MacNeil was not enough for Dinnington Town to recover from their bleak first half display.
Town entered the second period three goals down to a bright Bentley side who had their 9-0 home victory over the boys from earlier in the season in their minds.
But Dinnington pulled their fingers out for the next 45mins, with former Wednesday man Fusco bagging his 5th goal of the season. MacNeil found the back of the net, but not enough chances were taken to pull off what would have been a spirited comeback.
