Dronfield Town Reserves 4-1 Dinnington Town FC

Dinnington Town followed up their narrow defeat at the weekend with another heavy loss, this time away at Dronfield Town Reserves.

The night did not begin well, with Dronfield opening the scoring inside the opening 90 seconds of action. The red & blacks quickly added to their tally, taking a commanding 3-0 scoreline into half time.

It was four shortly after the break, and Dinnington supporters may have been relieved to see Munya Mswaka break Town's scoring woes with a consolatory 20 yard free kick late on in the game, but manager Matt Jenkinson was less than impressed:

"Tonight's performance was completely unacceptable and the players are very aware of our thoughts. It is a concern that we have lost our opening three league games, but myself and Adam (Pilgrim) are confident of turning things around as it is still very early in the season."

This latest defeat will certainly see some tough decisions being made regarding selection and tactical choices, with the first team having a brief break until the next league fixture.
