Dinnington Town FC | 2-1 | Renishaw Rangers |
Dinnington Town took all three points in a hard earned victory over local rivals Renishaw Rangers.
Town's first break came from Matt Bradley's cross from the right, which was powerfully headed home by a Renishaw defender. Rangers made amends for their own goal with a spectacular volley from 30 yards which left young Town goalkeeper Zac Walker with little chance.
Walker was kept busy throughout the second half and pulled off a number of fine saves. His contribution to the game ensured Town could plug away for a winner, which came from an 88th scramble. Once again, a cross by Matt Bradley caused chaos in the Rangers defence, and Town right back Ryan Hall found the all important finish to confirm the win for Matt Jenkinson's side.
