Great Harwood Rovers 0-6 Lytham St Annes YMCA Girls U-15s

High flying YMCA were in dominant mood in a one sided contest in sunny East Lancashire last Sunday with an excellent display of passing football. They took the lead early in the game when a fine through ball from the outstanding Yasmine Menezes found Isabelle Kells who calmly slotted the ball home. It was soon 2-0 when Madison Lucas made an excellent turn and produced a fine through pass to Ellie McNally who made no mistake in finding the net. The goals kept on coming and Kells found the scoresheet again to make it 3-0 just before the break. Soon after the restart Menezes claimed a well deserved goal when following a scramble in the home defence she stroked the ball home to make it 4-0. McNally then found space on the right hand side of midfield and crossed superbly and Kells was on hand to claim her hat trick before the impressive McNally sealed victory with an outstanding long range effort outside the box. YMCA were so much on top from the start that goalkeeper Olivia Neal was hardly troubled at throughout the game and in this excellent YMCA team performance Honey Griffith and Phoebe Davies were both notable.
