Lytham St Annes YMCA Girls U-15s 7-0 Great Harwood Rovers

YMCA U11 girls recorded their first win of the season in emphatic style at a sunny Seafield Road on Sunday morning. After being so close all season to recording a victory they fully deserved this one with a fine team display. Ellie Etheridge gave YMCA the lead and she soon doubled it with a fine finish. Ellie McNally added another to put the home side a 3-0 ahead at the interval. After the restart YMCA did not take their foot off the pedal and the impressive Etheridge notched her 3rd and 4th goals to put the game out of sight for the visitors. Honey Griffith capped an outstanding display with a pile driver to make it 6-0 and she was unlucky not to add two more with good efforts both hitting the post late on. McNally completed the scoring with another well taken goal to leave the girls full of confidence going into their next game. In an excellent YMCA team display Phoebe Davies was outstanding alongside her partner in defence Madison Lucas. Holly Crossley was industrious throughout with Lara Pilling dominant at the back when called upon.
