Local pride at stake this morning in the game with Lytham Juniors. Bragging rights in the playground up for grabs!
All four of the games were similar as it took YM a while to get going and in all four games the second halves were much better performances.
The first game started with Lytham coming the closest to opening the score but Lexi made a couple of good saves and kept her team in the game. Well done Lexi. In the second game the first goal came just before half time with a lovely chip by Charlee and in the third game came Max Alitt opening the scoring with a nice header. The final game was the closest, even though YM had the ball they couldn't score until a nice cross by Harry was met with a quality side foot volley by Zack.
Overall today we did well, at times it was a battle with Lytham closing us down quickly and they were quite dangerous on the attack, but YM kept playing and the goals came, so well done.
Finally big mentions to both Max Talbot & Max Alitt after they both scored their first ever goals for YMCA today. Well done Max and Max!
