GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
It can be said the game was not under the best stars. Started availability check days ahead, it was clear that this game would be challenging in terms of player numbers. It ended as expected, 5 new players were registered for the game, with a promising 12 players. As used to, due to the wife’s reason, one player was forced not to be available, leaving the team with 11 remaining players.
Yes, with temperatures above 30 degrees, that would be challenging at some point in the game. Arrived at the pitch, Dictator, aka team manager Bilgin was surprised to see 8 out of 11 confirmed players, well above the number he used to see weekly. New recruitment is more time sensitive. First heard: “Me all night out coming out of Ryan,” but barely any doubts exist that he would make a good game.
At some point, we have the 11 players showing up, starting the game with 5 min delay. The game started in a controlled way by both teams, whereby at some point in the first half Shanghai Kickers was ahead. But as usual in Football, opponents can score if you are not careful. Played around 30 min Peter Zhao, a young lad of 18 years max, scored 1-0, whereby our positioning was not that good Ryan was not yet back. Expect another post hit by Anzacs not much happens.
The second half did not start well for Shanghai Kickers, with one man down, it looked like things might go in the wrong direction. Fortunately, Ben could join again after we played for around 35 min with 10 men. It is evident that at some point, Shanghai Kickers would equalize, which also happened: Mark Linden C. by header, but refereed blind fox saw an offside It was not. And so, as time slowly passed, it was Ryan by a header served by Johnson’s corner able to be equalized. The game ended 1-1. It was a fair game, but at some point, in the game, it got more aggressive. We were the better team, unlucky that most of our players were not available for this game. Otherwise, we would have beaten them. Man of the match was awarded to Ryan Sebastian King!
With Regards
