GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
What a disastrous day it was for Shanghai Kickers! Expectations were so high, as during the week the squad was prepared showing up with a strong force, but being smashed by the Lions FC  with 9-0 was something not anyone would have imagined before the game.

Team Manager of Shanghai Kicker FC is still recovering from this unbelievable defeat! If for sure can be confirmed that Shanghai Kickers FC for a very long time have not showed up with such a strong squad for a game, but at arrival it was quickly realized that it was the same situation for Lions FC appearing with their best players. For Shanghai Kickers FC the day already started bad, the goal keeper {was fully drunk in some hotel in Shanghai}, who promised to be a former professional player did not show up, an unacceptable behavior, worst part was the player never officially apologized!

The game started very bad and it could be easily recognized that there is nothing to take from Lions FC that day, within 14 minutes it was 3-0 for the opponent. Goals were caused through different situations: Players were too slow, goalkeeper surprised by Lions FC and most important Shanghai Kickers FC midfield barely pulled back, when the opponent was attacking, especially both wings did not support much the defense, which shall change for the next game!

The game continued also supported by strong wind in the first half to be bad, whereby opponent was leading 5-0 in the first half. The second half Lions FC provided players to the pitch, who were not their first 11 allowing Shanghai Kickers FC to have 2-3 chances, but apparently the goal keeper was on all spots the ball went to. Second half strengths and breathe take its toll leading to another 4 goals ending the game 9-0. The team mentality was done and those goals were simple too many on such day with such players. Congratulation to Lions FC, a great team in Shanghai!

Kindest Regards
Team Manager
