Key news and reports: WEEKEND 13/14 FEBRUARY 2016

A cold but a mainly sunny weekend but for once we enjoyed a weekend without a drop of rain. On the Saturday morning our 12s Boys were at Fishers Field playing Foxhall where we got off to a great start with an Ashley Waterfield strike giving us an early lead. However the home side blitzed us with three goals in the last 10 mins of the 1st half and then added three more in the 1st 10 mins of the 2nd half to take a 6-1 lead. To the great credit of our boys though we pulled back to 6-3 with goals from Spencer Phillips and Nathan Evans only for Foxhall to grab a 7th goal. Harry Dyer netted another consolation just before the end to make it a 7-4 defeat for our boys. On the Sunday our 12s Girls were left depleted by players away on half term holidays at Seafield against Myerscough. The visitors took the lead twice but we levelled twice through Ellie McNally and Georgia Norman to earn us a 2-2 draw. The games involving our 14s and 16s boys plus our 16s Girls were all postponed due to players unavailble due to school commitments
