Dinnington Town FC 4-1 Newark Town

Dinnington Town recovered from a hefty defeat away at Clay Cross with a fine 4-1 victory over bottom-of-the-table Newark Town.

It was Newark who took the lead through Rhuel Samuels, but an equaliser from Mason Barlow ensured both Town's were level pegging going into half time.

The match hit a turning point with Newark defender Reece Carlisle seeing red for a dangerous challenge on Brad Howe. Barlow stepped up to swing the free kick in which evaded all heads and floated into the top corner.

Dinnington turned up the pressure and continued to press for further goals, which came from substitutes Rene Marsden with his first for the club from 25-yards, and Munya Mswaka who poked home from a Matty Bradley free kick.
