Phoenix 4-2 Dinnington Town FC

Phoenix avenged their 2-0 defeat at Phoenix Park back in September with a 4-2 victory at Pavilion Lane, extending Town's winless run to four games.

All three of Phoenix' opening goals came in the first half and courtesy of set pieces, giving stand in boss Adam Pilgrim plenty to think about at half time with Matt Jenkinson away on a course.

The second half was played with a lot more competition, with good play made down the left hand side between Blakemore and substitute Jonathan Fusco. Phoenix did end up furthering their lead before Fusco found the net with a strike from 25 yards.

His fellow sub, Dec Martin, who recently recovered from a broken collarbone, was found at the back post after a Jacob France corner and forced home Town's second of the game. Despite plenty of attacking impotus and some great chances, Dinno could not find the goals to stage what would have been a great comeback.
