Bio

Matt brings a wealth of experience for a younger manager, having played league football with Mansfield Town before a cruciate knee injury cut his career short. He also made appearances at Scottish side Queen of the South, Ilkeston Town & Stocksbridge Park Steels, amongst other NCEL sides.

Prior to becoming Town boss in March 2017, Matt was Development Team Manager at Sheffield FC, bringing through quality youngsters from schoolboy level to first team players.

Matt will be looking to improve on the club's 8th place finish in the 2017/18 season.
