GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
The team of Azzurri FC for sure is the one to be challenged in Shanghai, that we knew before the game and after the game. The game started, as it should probably start, Azzurri in control especially the first 15 minute creating two big "must make it" chances: The first in minute 1, where the ball was shot from left to 5m box of the goalkeeper for Kickers creating a 1/1 situation with our goalkeeper and Azzurri player, but suprisingly unknown how, he missed shooting the ball out poorly left side. In the 7th minute, another big chance by Azzurri miles over the goal. Then the time of Ryan Sebastian King arrived (man of the match), who was appointed by Dictator as Centre defender in his unusual position (usually striker). Two unbeliebable saves in minute 7 and 30, coach of Azzurri asked me on the the line to have him transferred as there new goalkeeper! The game in the half time stretched to the direction after minute 20 to be balanced not having many chances happening, but a suprise shot from midfield over 40m I assume by Kickers new signing "Irchad, Boinariziki" surprised Azzurri goalkeeper and all the rest of the players, nearly scoring. Planning with a 0-0 for the first half, Azzurri was not agreeing and scoring the 1-0 before  the first half ended 20sec later. The goal was the result of Azzurri super star Mariano, walking through several players, reaching Kickers area and defense not being able to clear out the ball followed by a score by Azzurri player Paul Tamayo.

The second half, Azzurri attacking decreased, whereby fitness paid its tribute. Kickers were holding strongly, but not having significant chances created. In the 77minute, after a "logistical discussion" between Kickers players Azzurri took the chance and shot from 20m nicely placed in Kickers goal not saveable by Shanghai Kickers goalkeeper Samuel Bowen. The last 15 minute game was heated up by special Dictatore Bilgin, hitting more legs than any ball, a minute more a double yellow would had been the result, he escaped with his usual yellow card:).

It can be said that Azzurri clearly had a strong opponent with Shanghai Kickers, we did not make it easy for them. We also apologize for the frontal smashing of Azzurri coach by Roy David Beale, who accidentely run into him trying to safe the ball on the sideline hitting the coach (he was flying 3m:)). It was nice  that it not lead to an escalation, reminded me of Ronaldo smashing Pep Guardialo in Barcelona.

GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
It was great, it was sensational….aehmm….of course unfortunately not the final result, I was talking more about the way we played our first game, but ended up unluckily with the result. As also I experienced it, most of us were happy to appear back to the pitch, after such long time and it was the first ever game for Shanghai Kickers FC in the Shanghai International Football League (SIFL), after nearly 20 years in the Shanghai Premier League (SPL), which paid its tributes to the damn Corona Virus.

According to the statistics, as usual managed and prepared by “Dictator Bilgin” average weight of the team has increased by 5kg per player during the holidays and Corona time, which was quite disastrous in terms of surviving the second half. It seems some rules have to be implemented in order to be back to track for the next game against for Reunited, Yoga is on the menu!

Our first game was planned to be the direction for the entire season: Win and eliminate the opponent and accompany the good mood to our next game! But as it is usual in football, plan and strategy are always on the paper, the reality is rather different (it sucks sometimes). We also know in football here are always some excuses, if things do not work out: YES, we had new players, who never played together; YES the pitch was new; YES Dictator was out of shape; YES we still had alcohol in the blood from Friday, etc., countless reasons, but honestly all just wrong for the game against Shanghai Vikings: We just were unlucky, we played great football!

It was only a matter of time that we would strike in the game. In the 2nd min we scored via Othmane, after a great pass by Roy. During that time Huseyin was going to bring some water and I asked him to go and do the same again, so we might score during his abscene again. But suddenly the picture changed: After the first 5 minutes we lost control till 30th minute, whereby in minute 10th Vikings made the equalizer. The next 20 minutes, we were pressured heavily (2 times post hits by Vikings and one crazy save by our goalkeeper), nevertheless the last 15 minutes of the first half belonged fully to us, whereby Shanghai Kickers scored in the 34th and 36th minute via Max and Cesar (Assists: Ryan & Houssam)

The picture looked different in the second half, after a free kick from 25m in the 53th minute the ball went in kind of crazily suprising defense and our goalkeeper, like the world was sleeping. Vikings smelled it quickly that something would be possible here and continued to pressure. In the 56th minute the game was equalized to 3-3 followed by the 4-3 in the 68th minute and 5-3 in the 80th minute, kind of 15 bad minutes for Shanghai Kickers creating a nightmare for Dictator for the next weeks ahead.

Then it was resting time for Vikings and Shanghai Kickers wake up too late and scored the 5-4 in the 90th minute via Cesar. We could say the game was kind of quite balanced and a 4-4 would been quite fair, but Kickers were not well coordinated from corners and free kicks, whereby 3 goals been scored after corners. It was a great game for SIFL and it can be said that Shanghai Kickers FC will be a great gain for the league and will be able to put quite heavy pressure on some established teams. The main derby preparation is ahead against Shanghai Krauts FC, but most important game as usual for Shanghai Kickers: Win against Marlins, even a loss of all games througout the season would be balanced out and compensated for, if we win against Marlins FC, a fierce battle over years.

In a urgent after game meeting Dictator decided to give a chance to one of his secret strategies his new system imported from “Angola”, before catapulting Shanghai Kickers to higher grounds, he meanwhile implemented the secret “Nicaragua Stratey” not known to the Shanghai Football Community. In his urgent press conference Dictator clearly communicated, that anything except a win on October 17th might cost him his head and that he will be transferred back to manage the U8 team.

Therefore: We really need to win against ReUnited, doesn’t matter how! I am expecting from each of you [different rules for Dictator of course, he always deliveries top notch performance] to go to bed at decent hours the next weeks, only drink 5 liters instead of the usual 9 liters beer and improve blood circulation, in order to be ready for the new battle. Via a tel conference the Management have also informed that our new acquisitions will be announced soon!

TEAM MANAGER NEWS- Season Start 2020-2021

Tuesday 1st September 2020

Dear all,

Welcome all new players and old players to Shanghai Kickers FC, a club which was founded in Year 2000! Hundreds of players joined and experienced a nice time in connection with football. Over the years we had plenty of success and especially the last year we had one of the strongest squads.

Shanghai Kickers FC played in the Shanghai Premier League (SPL) for 19 years, whereby after the league was closed (Covid-19 gave its last hits), we moved this year to Shanghai International Football League (SIFL). The SIFL is a very strong and well organized league with super strict rules and some teams such as Azzuri, Re-united and Shooters playing very strong football. We yet not know with what team we will measure ourselves.

The team will be managed by Bilgin (Team Manager & Nickname DictatorJ) and Roy, whereby Roy will represent the Team Captain. The work behind such team is really massive, so the only thing we expect from the player is: Be on time! Reply to team manager, if being asked for something and be fully positive!

AND HERE THE MOST IMPORTANT: We are not professionals and I do not want “negative attitude” within this team, if we “lose”, it was all our fault together and not of an individual player. During the game, be respectful against each other, you can say things also nicely and not be an asshole towards any of your teammates. Divas are not welcome, this is a man sport, you act like a man and not be too sensitive!

At some point we can’t listen to all voices, opinions or demands, we decide based on the interest of the team. It has been also Shanghai Kickers FC philosophy that we treat each player fair and give sufficient playing time. At the beginning we might struggle a little, as the new players need know the old players, but in general we have strong players (members) and a good base of non-members (in case we not sufficient and they will be charged for the game), which can be injected to assure that have a complete team out in Waigaoqiao.

We all busy, shit can happen, things can go wrong, but what the player should never do is:
[1] Do not confirm, if you not sure that you can play! Whatever the weather will be, the game is on, the league never cancels games. If team does not show up, it is 2,000RMB punishment and 3-0 loss for the team. The team depends on your word given, so sort your things out and inform me or Roy, if something changes as early as possible.
[2] Please do not be late, always be there 30 minutes before the game. Roy will start with the warm up 20 minutes before the game and I will announce the Squad during warm up.
[3] You will be asked to confirm your attendance in the wechat group (members) by Wednesday 6pm. The maximum Squad taken to the game is max 14/15 players, is squad is full, you end up on the waiting list. This is only like this, so that it is worse to make the trip out there.

Some other rules:
[1] Without SHINPADS not allowed by league to play!
[2] No TEAMMATES shall be criticized! This is a NO-GO with Shanghai Kickers FC!
[3] We do not argue with the referees, as is of no use.
[4] YELLOW CARD (50RMB) & RED CARD (100RMB) are charged by the league, but not all details are known yet and as with other teams mostly same, player are responsible for it. It will be recorded by the Shanghai Kickers Committee.
[5] Do not assault anyone, never beat anyone, this can bring you in big trouble and any assault or attack on any player (beating), you will be banned from the league for years or ever. Police gets sometimes involved and that in China for sure is a big issue.

Financials:
[1] The league costs around 38,000-43,000RMB per season
[2] Membership is: 2000RMB (normal member); 500RMB (students with no family here); 1,500RMB (students with family here); 0RMB (for players coming from other provinces). For outside player, we charge 120RMB per game, but after Game 5 they shall become member.
[3] Each player pays his own shirt by themselves.

We not like other clubs charging huge amounts, we want things being controlled. If you want to play during the week for training purpose, let us know, we play Tuesday and Thursdays 8-10pm, 6 aside to keep yourself fit. Meanwhile, anyone wants to play more during week can ask me, I have many games going on during the week.

Meanwhile, I am happy that it starts Saturday and looking forward to a good season! I will launch a app soon and also the website is under construction.

Your valued,
Bilgin (aka Dictator) & Roy

GOALS DETAILS:
Lions scored both goals in the first half (23th minute) and (38th minute). First goal was a shot from 22m, not strong, but was not much visible for the goalkeeper an unexpected shot ending up flat on the left side of the goal giving our goalkeeper Martin Schimmel no chance. Second goal by Lions was scored by a corner, supported by the wind it found it way towards 5m area after passing through several players to the opponents goal scorer Ladid Sahraoui, who just pushed the ball into the net.

In the second half Markus Almeroth scored for Shanghai Kickers FC in the 73th minute.

OTHER HIGHLIGHTS SHANGHAI KICKERS FC:
Bad decision by referee calling it offiside in the 78th minute, after a pass from Stas to Franky, who was one to one with goalkeeper and scored the goal was cancelled by referee an outrage decision! It was never an offside. In the 86th minute Markus Almeroth had the "big chance" for an equalizer, unfortunately the ball went into the sky. Franky also was able to equalize with another goal, but also unlucky, as he waited to long

GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
The game started with the right direction, whereby nevertheless Lions FC were controlling the ball, but the Shanghai Kickers Defense was staying very compact. Shanghai Kickers lost too much ground by not moving the ball fast enough to the forwarders, having certain unnecessary ball losses by keeping it too long. All resulted in to many failed passes occuring from the centre and wing areas, after received from defense.

It was more than a surprise that out of no where Lions FC scored from 22yards catching our goalkeeper by surprise. As in football sometimes usual on a shitty day you get this kind of goal and the second was not waiting long for it.

Second half after a dominated speech by the beloved Dictator we had dominated the game, but were not able to have the last punch. Key was that the closest player to opponent attacks the player with the ball creating mistakes by the opponent player.

A great nice day it was, but unfortunately with a bad loss for Shanghai Kickers FC. It was the first game of the season and we hope some "wins" will follow after this defeat.

Kindest Regards
Team Manager

GAME COMMENTS BY TEAM MANAGER:
The game started with the right direction, whereby Shanghai Kickers were controlling the ball, unfortunatelly not finding the right hole through the Japanese defense in the first 15minutes, who were staying very compact. Shanghai Kickers lost too much ground by not moving the ball fast enough to the forwarders, having certain unnecessary ball losses by keeping it too long (especially Nicolas was somehow stuck to the ball) leading to the fact that Sam Shanghai Kickers FC new striker barely got a ball.

It was more than a surprise that out of no where Japan FC scored from 20yards catching our goalkeeper by surprise. Whether it was a surprise crossover lead to a goal or a planned shot, will be long time for discussion. Nice part was that we equalized 2 minutes later by Josenilson. The game for sure was from that point on in Shanghai Kickers FC hand. But as it is in football, missing your chances might be punished, as Japan FC nearly scored 5 sec before the end of first half.

Second half after a dominated speech of coach Liam and teaching Portugese to Sam F. with 2 minutes (so Josenilson passes the ball more often to him), things should look better, but unfortunately not 1 minute to second half after a ball loss by Ian the opponent striked again, a suprise it was for Shanghai Kickers. That goal was a wake up call and Shanghai Kickers started to control the game till the end scoring another 2 goals and providing the base to let Japan FC to score a own goal.

A great nice day it was, the sun was shining and our 2nd win in the 4th game gives us hope for more!

Kindest Regards
Team Manager
